A Remarkable School Year TBC
These are exceptional days at Trinity as we celebrate an outstanding academic year and embrace a future infused with opportunity.
First, graduation is just two weeks away, Saturday, May 2, 2014. This is an amazing graduating class. Thirty-two percent are on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.6 or higher. These bright young women and men will enrich our world through significant social and spiritual contributions both in America and around the world. Trinity students come from more than twenty-six states and benefit from collaborative learning with a stellar international faculty. In addition to their major, every Trinity student graduates with a biblical and theological foundation designed to enlighten decisions throughout their life.
Next, with a keen eye toward global mobilization, Trinity is preparing to offer options for a semester abroad. The first, South Africa, is on schedule to launch as early as 2015. President Alexander and I just returned from ten days in South Africa where we participated in several collaborative talks with a delightful leadership team from Africa School of Missions, an innovative mission’s center dedicated to preparing men and women for Christian ministry across the world. With God’s favor, in the coming months, Trinity will have similar opportunities for cross-cultural learning around the world.
We have much to be thankful for: a growing student body, opportunities to serve people at home and abroad, an impressive international faculty, engaged alumni and the opportunity to bring the liberating message of God’s love around the world. God has blessed Trinity with wonderful leaders and students over the years and it is with great anticipation that we look forward to a promising future. With God’s favor, nothing is impossible and literally—the sky is the limit.
